VIRTUAL RACE INFORMATION
We know you can’t always join us in person so we offer a virtual race option to enjoy the perks of the race while running on your own. Virtual races count as qualifying races for the Longboard Legacy Program, the Beach Cities Challenge, and Golden State Challenge!
Included with your virtual registrations:
- Official Event Bib
- Official Finisher Shirt
- Official Finisher Medal
- Official event tote bag
When you sign up for your Virtual Race option, you will need to complete your virtual race and submit proof of finish through our Virtual Submission Link no later than TBD to receive your race packet. Race packets will not be mailed before the race and will not be available at the Race Expo.

- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Beach Mile (1 mile)
SUBMIT YOUR PROOF OF VIRTUAL RUN
The link for virtual submissions is now live. Virtual participants must submit proof of their race by TBD to receive their finisher packet. Race packets will not be mailed before the race, nor will they be available at the Race Expo.
VIRTUAL RACE RULES
- Virtual race results will not be included in the Official Results
- All virtual runs must be completed and submitted by TBD
- Bib, Shirts, and Medals will be mailed to the address submitted on the virtual submission link. Items will be shipped within two weeks of race day. Please allow up to 4 weeks after race day to receive your finisher packet
- The Virtual run option will allow you to maintain your Longboard Legacy status, earn eligibility for the Beach Cities Challenge, and earn eligibility for the Golden State Challenge
- Virtual Race Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions
- Virtual Race registration is required in order to participate in the program
- Race Packets must be shipped to a USA address
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You may complete your virtual race prior to February 1st but you will need to submit your proof of finish when the Virtual Submission Link goes live between February 1st and February 11th. Check out our FAQs for additional information on completing your virtual race.
