Robert August’s journey began on the shores of Huntington Beach, where the rhythm of the waves shaped not only his future but the global surfing community. Star of the legendary film The Endless Summer, Robert continues to inspire generations to pursue their passions, whether on land or sea.
As the first honoree of our Local Legends program, Robert’s legacy will be embodied throughout the experience leading up to and on race weekend.
